Cultural Destruction

First and foremost, I must state that this artcle is written from an African-centered prospective and is diametrically opposed to the average mode of Euro-centric thinking. So we ask that you at least read the entire artical before you rush to judgment.

Many of us (In America & Abroad) are being used as a tool to facilitate and perpetuate the destruction of a positive culture that delivered the very first concept of God, invented the calender for keeping time, invented writing & languages, and a plethora of behavior shaping institutions that enabled us to provide the world with what we call today -Civilization!

This perspective will challenge you to think different, see different, and open your mind to a perspective that deviates from the normal mode of thinking.

We declare as the 1st law of Africanism "If you don't exist according to your African essence, then anything else you exist as will be a deminishment" - Dr. Wade Noble. This means that if you are a Rapper, Singer, Doctor, Lawyer, Actor/Actress, Cook, Mailman, Scientist, or whatever, you must be it as an African in order to be all that you can be. If you are a teacher you must teach as an African to be all that you can be! When we look at the women in the world, the most beatiful women are those that except themsevles as God made them. Look at the natural women of the world. They are full of confidence, they're exotic, they're the most salt-after, and their beauty seems endless.

With the above said we will now move into the meat of this subject "The Cultural Destruction through Art & Images". We will begin by defining culture, used in the proper manner, and then explain what happens when the art of a culture is manipulated or co-oped. We will show how African Art has been diverted from its original course through the use of Rap, R&B, and Movies, just to name a few. We will limit ourselves to three as not to swell this article/Hub. And lastly we will point to the media and how it helps to criminalize some, legitimize others, and perpetuate an "Internal Ignorance" in many.

What is Culture? When you go to Webster's dictionary seeking confirmation of the meaning it will say: 1) cultivation, development, or improvement of a particular thing; improvement of intellect, etc.... 2) customs, ideas, skills, or a way of life. The above definitions are somewhat accurate but they are to general to be used to make calculated changes. The above definitions of culture are more extrinsic and allows for external manipulations, thus, we will provide a more useful intrinsic definition.

Culture, Intrinsically means to cultivate and anytime you cultivate something you give it exactly what it needs to grow, develop, and expand. Culture therefore is the formalized methods of shaping people behavior in their own interest and properly understood and used "Art" is the science of transcending negative tendencies.

The author asserts that the average individual does not understand the true meaning of culture and the tiny majority that does has conspired to exploit this ignorance by providing the average individual with a inaccurate (extrinsic) meaning that supports the tiny majoritys' interest.

The two most powerful forms of artistic manipulations are music (This encludes Rap & R&B), and drama plays (Movies/Television). The two follow the same principles. In drama movies you'll find in the plot that the characters are made sympathetic, they are taken through a series of continuous increasing conflict. At some point the audience identifies with the sufferings of the protagonist, and this invokes a variety of emtional states. Finally, the climax comes when the protagonist is almost doomed, but wait, he/she overcomes some inextricable complication.

Good music follows the same principle. It's composed in a manner that induce a particular mood, it builds up to a heightened state, and yes, finally the climax comes. With the onslaught of videos, music has the best of both worlds, full range of imagery and as they say the "Bump'in Beat".

There has been an ongoing debate amongst the masses with the issue being whether art imatates life or whether life imitates art? This type of debate will only be an issue amongst the most ignorant because those who are trained in the secrets of behavior shaping already know that life imitates art, and thus, when you retard the art of a group or culure, you can create a retarded group or a retarded culture.

The tiny minority have arranged things in such a manner that a small portion of the ignorant can become extremely wealthy by creating artistic pieces designed to facilitate their own oppression, exploitation, and that of the Majority.
